I KNOW THE STRUGGLES OF WEIGHT AND BODY IMAGE.

I started dieting at a young age, and struggled with an eating disorder, disordered eating, and yo-yo dieting. I hit rock bottom after 30 years of these struggles and finally found peace and freedom by stepping away from diets and trying to manipulate my weight and instead focusing on health-promoting behaviors and learning to accept and respect my body. I promote the principles of intuitive eating with my clients and love helping them separate exercise from weight loss. By working with me, my clients are able to see exercise as a tool for taking care of themselves, increasing respect for their bodies, getting stronger, and building confidence in doing things they never thought they could.

  • Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Personal Fitness Systems. Certified GGS-L1 Coach

  • Continuing education in fitness nutrition specialization, Intuitive Eating Counseling, body image coaching, and corrective exercise specialization

  • My philosophy is that working out, daily activities, and eating should be a source of joy in a person’s life NOT a source of frustration.  I take a non-diet approach to health and fitness and BELIEVE all bodies deserve respect and to take care of themselves
